Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
